Our School

The staff and faculty of Black Mountain Elementary hold several beliefs close to our hearts.

  • We believe that when we foster strong home-school communications we build a foundation of success for our students.

  • We believe that our students have a right to be safe everywhere in our school, and to be respected both by their fellow students and by the adults who work with them.

  • We believe that, in order to deliver the best 21st century learning opportunities to our students, teachers must be flexible,  be always seeking to improve their skills and be reflective teachers and learners.
