PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports.

This is a system that targets POSITIVE behaviors, rather than focusing on negative behaviors and their consequences. Students are rewarded and encouraged for exhibiting outstanding classroom behavior. Because of this, students work together to create a positive school and classroom climate.
