Meet Your Teacher
Caroline Clark

Hello and welcome! This is my third full year at Black Mountain Elementary and first year as a fifth grade teacher.  However, I had the honor of completing my student teaching experience at this wonderful school with Mrs. Carrie Lynch.  I graduated from Montreat College in 2012, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduating, I moved back to my hometown to teach fourth grade at Hopkins Elementary School. I am from Lawrenceville, Georgia, which is a city north of Atlanta. Living in Montreat for four years, it was quite easy to fall in love with this beautiful area. I am thrilled to be back in Western Carolina and specifically, Black Mountain! I married my husband April 5, 2014 and reside in South Asheville.
I can honestly say I enjoy all school subjects.  I love meeting new people and visiting new places. Outside of school, I have played a lot of soccer and read a lot of music. I even had the opportunity to play soccer, sing, and play the cello at college!
Classroom environment is very important to fostering learning and growth. I believe a positive community is vital to student growth! I also believe family support is irreplaceable to a child. I look forward to working alongside my students and families to help them succeed!
